Music is a universal language — one who’s “speech” is known to all musicians……that one song stays the same, just like that moment.
Today at school, I was playing Imagine out loud in an empty class room, when a girl accidently entered the room and said; “Ewwww, who just butchered Lady Gaga’s song?”.. I looked at her, confused, and said, no no this is THE Imagine - not Lady Gaga.. She looked and me and said, in all seriousness: “Well I’m a huge Lady Gaga fan and I know for a fact that that’s her own song. I don’t know what this rip off version you’re listening to is.. And God he sounds awful, doesn’t he?”… I don’t know what’s worse.. The fact that she thinks Lady Gaga wrote Imagine or that she said John Lennon sounded awful……… what is faith in humanity??!?!
I cannot IMAGINE someone being so lame… so uneducated in musc… so… so… STOOPID to actually believe in the above statement — actually believe it’s true?!?!
